    Selling firearm to FFL

Hello, I have a bunch of lowers and non altered OEM on roster pistols that a local FFL wanted to purchase as a lot. Does it count toward my PPT?

    TY for your time.

It shouldn't count, but with DOJ I'm not sure anyone could give an accurate answer since they seem to make up the rules as they go these days.

There isn't a typical DROS transaction involved, unless the dealer is personally buying them for himself. Even then it could be all done as a single transaction. Remember the law says transactions of less than six, not sales of less than six.

Does not count towards PPT limits for the year. I had the same question for my FFL a few years ago.

If you sell to the FFL in one lot, its one transaction. You are limited to 6 selling transactions per year (PPT or otherwise), and 50 firearms total.

There are no exemptions to CA laws for a non-FFL or a non-exempt person selling/transferring to a CA FFL dealer. [PC 26500-26590]
^There are only exemptions for FFLS and exempt persons when selling/transferring to a CA FFL dealer.

          Therefore... [PC 26520]
Firearms sold by a non-FFL to a CA FFL dealer still count towards the non-FFL's legal limits on how many and the amount of firearms they can legally sell/transfer within a calendar year.
