Paper ID/DL

Hi everyone,

I just recently renewed/updated my license with my new address. I was going to go buy a new gun this week, but my Real ID (hard card) does not have my current address. I have a paper DL issued by the DMV until my new ID comes in the mail, along with current utility bill with new address. Will this be an issue, or should I wait until my new license comes in?

Depends on the FFL. I would just wait. Unless your car registration has your new address.

Any picture DL/ID is fine I did think you had a temp paper one

Correct, temp paper one. New one came this morning!

If your physical ID does not have your current physical address on it you will need to bring some other government document that proves your address. As mentioned a DMV vehicle registration would be fine.
