    One gun per month????

    Greetings,

I recently bought two used Ruger Bearcats from two different FFL vendors on gunbroker.com.

I had them both shipped to my LGS. I just went to said LGS to initiate DROS on both of them, and was told that I could only start DROS for one handgun per month, even though they were both used guns.

The LGS said if they were ppt transfers, they could do multiple used guns at one time, but since they were purchased from FFL dealers, despite being used guns, we could only process one per month.

Does that sound right to you?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    Yes, that's CA law.

    'Used' has no legal significance.

Amen, I've bought multiple handguns at the same time multiple times. And to have ammo still shipped to your front door, well worth the hoops and hassle to get them. And for road trips, lots of great C&R guns available cash & carry outside of Commifornia.
