Do any current CA laws prohibit an individual, say a hunter, from taking ammunition out-of-state, and then returning to CA with the unused portion? I have seen threads asking various forms of this question, but they were quite old. Looking for a clear understanding. Thanks,

You can't bring into California ammunition which was bought or otherwise obtained outside of California (some exceptions apply).Do any current CA laws prohibit an individual, say a hunter, from taking ammunition out-of-state, and then returning to CA with the unused portion? LEO has to prove you got it out of state.
