Off Roster Personal Transfer - Question

I have an off roster pistol and would like to sell it private transfer. Dose the transfer need to be face to face only or can I ship to an FFL with all the paperwork filled out?

It needs to be done FTF or through cosignment.

face to face or consignment but note that you cannot ship a gun for consignment either. So no matter what you must make a physical appearance at the same FFL where your buyer will also appear and come back to do their pickup.

The only way you can ship is if your buyer is roster exempt (like LEO), the gun is roster exempt (like C&R or some SAA or single shot guns etc), or you ship it out of state, or you sell it to a CA dealer
