Required to ship ammo to FFL?

Not sure if this is because of the being pending CA ammo laws but some retails are requiring ammo to be shipping to a dealer.

Has anyone had any issues with shipping from a online store to your door step without having to ship to a FFL dealer?

Specific cities have ordnances that regulate were ammo can be shipped.

It says LA, Sac, and SF, ship to FFl. Those cities have sale reporting requirements which are probably BS.

That's exactly what my local FFL said today when i asked if you needed to go thru a dealer for ammo... but they said they'll accept it for me if i wanted without charging me anything.
