FFL in Burbank area that allows PPT without a magazine

Trying to find a place in Burbank that is willing to accomodate this transfer, as the seller of a P7M13 cannot locate a magazine suitable for PPT. We got turned down at Burbank Guns and Ammo. Seller and I are also looking for FFLs that allow the option of DROS with a P7M10 magazine in a P7M13 or even a blocked P7M13 mags. So far I've had no luck with return calls or e-mails.

Anyone with experience in the Burbank area have a recommendation? Thank you in advance

I know they will, but my sellers schedule limits PPTs only to the Burbank area. Had his schedule had more flexibility I would then just do it there. Lol

Guns Direct transferred multiple M13’s for me several years ago. Don’t remember if I left magazines but there were a couple M10’s involved in the transfer as well. I believe you can find blocks for the M13 magazines.

A magazine is needed for a PPT? I've done several off rosters without a magazine for legal reasons and nobody said a word? Is this the law or just store policy?

In order to do a safe handling demonstration, you need a magazine. I believe the SHD could be performed with another similar gun, but the P7 is sort of unique. However it loads and unloads like other semi autos.

But yes, many FFLs will want a mag in the gun being transferred unless the buyer is exempt from SHD (like CCW)

I have a pretty extensive collection of dummy rounds, but now and then I get an odd ball. I have on rare occasion told the buyer to bring me a dummy round which I do not retain. Example; I just transferred a C Sharps Highwall in 40-65. The buyer was exempt, but had he not been I'd have told him to bring me a dummy round. Problem?

Ah, that makes sense, I use my CCW or FFL03 + COE so I guess I haven't had to do that malarky anymore. Of course, if there was ANY logic in the CADOJ's decision to require a demonstration of safe gun handling, the buyer could just demonstrate safe handling with a similar semi-auto pistol
the dealer had laying around but that would violate the CADOJ's mission statement to degrade, hassle and humiliate all California gun buyers?
