    PPT Limits (Buyer)

Are there any limits on how many PPT transactions a buyer can make in 1 month, or amount of firearms in a set time? I started a DROS on 2 firearms (PPT) a couple days ago, and hoping to make another purchase tomorrow (PPT). Wanted to be sure I wasn't getting myself jammed up.

No limit for the buyer on frequency or how many at a time

FFL sometimes have their own policy on how many at a time though

No limit, but I understand more than 1 pistol per transaction, then the FFL must report it to the ATF and local law agency.

FFLs are required to file ATF Form 3310.4, Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers, to report the transfer of two or more handguns to the same person at one time or within five consecutive business days. A similar form, ATF 3310.12, applies to Multiple Sales Rifles. That is required when an FFL sells or otherwise disposes of, at one time or during any five consecutive business days, more than one semiautomatic rifle capable of accepting a detachable magazine and with a caliber greater than .22 to an unlicensed person.

yup, but wondering if this raises any issues or red flags. I would imagine they are looking for massive purchases but 2 guns at once isn't uncommon.

For Los Angeles, is the limit only 2 within the City of Los Angeles in 30 days or does LA look at other locations too?

Could I do a PPT in San Diego, then one in Los Angeles City before 30 days are up?

                  LA looks at other locations.
                  1 in 30 for LA.
Do the first PPT in LA if you must, then do the second one elsewhere.

1 in 30 within the city limits of LA.

As recommended above, do the PPT outside of LA City.
