San Diego interstate intrafamilial off-roster transfer

I am wondering after some conversations with local stores, is there anyone who is comfortable in San Diego with doing a legit and honest interfamilial off-roster transfer from Father to Son, Arizona to California. If so what would be required paperwork wise to make an FFL comfortable with such a transfer? I.E. Notarized letter from Father in home state? Birth certificate with names of Father and Son? Shipped via carrier from AZ FFL to CA FFL? I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask these questions or if they are inappropriate. Trying to get back in to the swing of things on Calguns.
