Not entirely correct. Ukrainian forces use Soviet designed and Soviet made AK and other weapon systems, but also after 1991, they use same Soviet weapon systems manufactured in Ukrainian factories. During Soviet times Ukraine was manufacturing backbone of the Soviet Union, together with Ural Mountains located plants.
This does not exclude that some Russian made weapons made its way into Ukrainian hands, because there was significant trade between two countries until recently.

Unfortunately your ignorance is showing. Suggest you do some in depth review of history during WWll. Ukrainian resistance forces were will known then as they are today...however, then they were fighting Germans, Communist Russians and Poles.

So NO, they were NOT fighting along side Nazi Germany!
