Hello, today I picked up a firearm from Turners in Salinas and I was given a "Firearms Purchase Checklist" which required me to check boxes and required me to put my signature on. Why does Turners do this? Has anyone had the same experience? The original form was retained by Turners and I was given a yellow copy.

Turners and "Firearms Purchase Checklist"

probably because they get so many buyers who are complete idiots and end up making five trips in just to get the paperwork done right wasting everyone's time. These are the people that need to be hand held the entire way through and are too dense to figure out how to look up on the internet, what counts as a second proof of address etc. - "I have my dog's vet receipt, can that count. derp derp." -
I've done the whole turners checklist. But it's NOWHERE near as bad as when TargetMasters WEST was still in Milpitas.
