Does the CFLC enrollment site really work?

Has anyone ever successfully enrolled with the site or did you just give in and do a snail-mail registration?

I've tried on multiple occasions and I go all the way through and set a password then I get a generic error of "There has been an application error. Please contact system administrator."

Part of me just can help but think it's CA DOJ "reducing the import of arms" through not keeping the CFLC functioning. I also can't help but suspect non-digital applications will get slow walked or lost (yes, I trust my home state's government that much.)

I don't have anything waiting for a CFLC letter, I just was doing it preemptively (which is probably a good thing seeing how enrollment is funky.)

    Thanks!

I found emails to the effect that it was sending me an account and password despite the error messages. But it still doesn't allow logon with any of the passwords I had previously set for each enrollment attempt. I only get "The User Name and/or Password is invalid."

When I attempt to a lost password reset it still doesn't recognize my ID and also returns "The User Name and/or Password is invalid."

    Peak CA DOJ technical ineptitude.

I would try a different browser and see what happens.

Good suggestion, in addition I'd clear cookies and cache.

I was quit surprised to learn that Chrome has 60%+ of browser installs.
