    Automated call from ATF

Anyone else received this today? Is it real? Seems a bit weird.

Looks like other people got this call too. Seems like a legit part of the ATF process. I guess the question really is, who in Orange County got hit?

Whenever BATFE issues a warning notice about thefts, it gets sent to all FFLs in the affected region.
                  ^This includes C&R 03-FFLs.

Does anyone know if there is a public list of addresses for 03 ffl holders? Got me wondering if this hit was targeted off a list or a follow home?

AFAIK, there is no public list of 03 FFLs

                        Scam:
                        1. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is always capitalized especially if it comes from that source.
2.Firearms is one word not two.
                        3. "he" instead of "here"
                        4. Orange County should be capitalized.
                        5. Comma after Orange County
6."in the set" is improper..should have read 'in a set'.
                        New sentence starting "The suspect..."
                        Period after door.
                        7(period) And additionally...
                        8. Etc.../..."and goodbye"...WHAT!!!
It's about as phony as the day in long.
BTW...the number "is not in service."
The grammar of most of these fools amazes me.

That message is a voicemail to text format it seems.

Notice the "transcripton" above the text.
