    FFL expired

My friend did not renew his FFL/CFL and one of my guns is stuck on his books. I procrastinated in processing it into my name. What options do I have? how do I get the gun now?

He has to make arrangements (or the ATF will for him) to transfer his inventory to another FFL or to himself ( not sure how the 1 in 30 would apply) and show the disposition in his book. He needs be proactive and contact ATF now and get started on the process, before they show up to do it for him.

Does he have to do anything with DROS or CADOJ?

Curious how one would transfer his inventory to another FFL without a valid CFD. He wouldn’t be able to send it to another CA dealer that’s for sure.
