I have 3 MPX's, 1 of which I sold and need to transfer. I will post the other two soon. My question is, what do I need to bring to do the transfer and is there a shop in the east bay that would do it? I called Solar Tactical and they told me I need the DROS form to show I purchased it as a pistol. They are equipped with the Patriot mag lock. I don't have the form so I don't really know what do. Are any of you FFL's out there available to answer? I would surely appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Not all MPXs are pistols, but I assume that these are based on the OP.
The FFL is trying to avoid potential issues with being in possession of an unregistered SBR which would be the case if they were "Rifles", and turned into pistols, so he's just trying to be safe.
Technically, all you need to a PPT is your CADL or CAID.Comment
