FFL03 Addy change to San Diego County

Moved from Alameda County to San Diego County recently.
Need to update my FFL03.

Regarding the letter to Sherriff, who are you guys addressing the letter to?
I understand in most cases it goes to admin staff, but just wanted to double check.

For example: Attn William D. Gore, Sheriff / Staff?

Any "gotchas" specific to San Diego County I need to be aware of?

Are you in a city, or a county area? If you're in a activity it goes to the chief of police. If in a unincorporated area of the county it goes to the Sheriff.

Let the agency decide where the paperwork gets forwarded to.

I'm in Mira Mesa, which should be San Diego County unless there's something I'm not aware of?

I belive Mira Mesa area belongs to city of San Diego, SDPD chief of police is David Nisleit.
