    PPT Delayed

Hi there not sure if this is the right spot for this question? I did to PPT at 2 different FFL (1) for a 22lr rimfire rifle.(1) for a AR15. Both DROS got delayed? I'm lost as to why.I thought PPT are exempt from the 1 in 30 day rule? Never got delayed before.Very curious on what happened? Please enlighten me. Sorry if this has been cover before.New to the PPT.

There could be a problem with your record or with a record of someone that has a name very similar to yours.
Any misdemeanors, etc. in your past?

Did you do the second PPT in the city of Los Angeles?
They have one in 30 for PPT.
Generally though that would mean that the second PPT would just plain get rejected.

    Edit:
Looks like you are up north.
Hope you selected an FFL that delivers on "undetermined".

    Let us know what happens.

    Good luck.

Was the .22 rifle a semi auto?

                    PPT are exempt from 1/30
Rimfire semi auto are exempt from 1/30

This is not a 1/30 problem

I was looking over the DROS form the FFL filled out and i noticed that under the category they put down semi automatic not rimfire? Could this be the cause of the delay? I'm hoping it is i called the FFL to find out but they were on lunch break.

No, this is not a problem. This is to be expected for a semi auto rimfire.
