Your 30 day clock started on the date and time of the submission, regardless of being cancelled.

Huh. That makes sense, from a reasonable for the buyer standpoint.

Not that they have not changed their minds Its not a common thing but mistakes do happen and have gotten fixed. Mistakes in the customers information is not considered fixable in the DES. Minor corrections in the gun description are allowed but only once in the DES system.

In the last couple years they have changed their minds on when the 30 day clock starts. Previously a cancelled DROS was not counted but then all of the sudden the took the wording literally. Since technically a DROS was submitted and application was made even if it was not completed.

We fixed one 3 weeks ago. Handgun, fixed and resubmitted. No issues

No, we canceled and then fixed resubmitting. It was an address which isn’t fixable.

I think only the firearm info can be fixed. Make a mistake with any party to the transaction and you have toasted it and need to start again.

Damn, we just had this happen where we took the address off of the CDL, and the customer moved. Is he SOL for 30 days?

I called the DROS line this afternoon, and was told that if the DROS was cancelled that it should not count against the 1:30. She said if that does happen to send them an email and they’ll send it up (whatever that means).

The second DROS after the cancel (submitted two days later) cleared without an issue.
