    Quick question for smart ppl.

Forgive me for probably a repetitive question. (i tried to search) How does one mail an OEM serial numbered, legally owned glock frame to be worked on/painted? I want a stipple package and cerekote for my frame done from a guy in Las Vegas. Does he have to be an FFL to receive my frame in the mail? is that the case no matter where i send it? A lot of guys who do custom work ARENT FFLs. :/ (out of state guys) i want to do this the right way. Any help would be much appreciated. Any one know of any Cali based glock Stipple/Cerekote professionals? let me know! THANK YOU!

EDIT: okay someone reached out, I understand now thank you!

Yes they must be FFL or you must ship it to a FFL for transfer to them.

And if they are not FFL, then the gun needs to be sent back to a FFL here for DROS back to you.

Unless you go personally to a Cerakote applicator and wait on site while they do the work, then my advice is don't deal with anyone who is not a FFL.

      What he said.

Also since the person is located in another State, failure to utilize a FFL for this equates to a Federal felony for everyone involved. [18 USC 922(a)(3),(5)]

One more thing. You can't us the USPS to send the pistol or pistol frame. Only licensed ffl dealers can send pistols though the USPS.

Non FFLs must use FedEx or ups.
