    Off list PPT

Would like to purchase a off list pistol thats currently in No CA,I to am in So CA.

This purchase will require the other party to ship via FFL to my FFL.

Its my understanding this would be a PPT and legal just having to go FFL to FFL.

    Is this correct?

nope, it would not be a PPT. Currently, a PPT requires both the buyer and seller both appear in front of the FFL at the same time. No shipping allowed.

Your scenario would be considered a normal transfer, in which the handgun must be rostered, and the FFL can charge whatever fee he wishes. He is not limited to the $35 PPT fee.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

It is best if the seller can go to the buyer's location since the buyer will have to go back after 10 days. In most cases the seller will have to go to where the buyer is since the buyer wants it and the seller can sell it to someone else.
