Read the above thread. It's different for firearms which go to an FFL vs. if the product was delivered direct to you. There are Code sections quoted from the BOE/CDTFA.

You're wrong.
Read the "sticky: When CA FFLs should collect SALES TAX from consumers." : by Kemasa. It answers virtually every question related to tax collection on firearms shipments and then some.
Not smart to encourage others to violate laws.

Shipping is taxable. Basically the total of your invoice is taxable.
