    Shipping label to FFL dealer

If I am a private party seller shipping a rifle to an FFL dealer with a name like, Guns Guns Guns, do I have to use that name on the shipping label? Could I use the FFL dealers name like, John Smith, instead of Guns Guns Guns? I really don't like the idea of advertising what is in the shipping box.

    Contact the FFL and ask.

What he said. Many guns we get come in from manufacturers with names like SSI and SA, so GGG might be fine with them. When we ship, we also put the buyer's name on the label.

Use G, G, G,.... I've resolved similar situations by using the first letter of the stores title.

That’s why my company name is R&D Precision. And yes you can be creative with the name but you can always ask the dealer. I do know if it’s a commercial building you will have to put in some kind of business name that is close to the original or it might not be delivered or you might get a call from the shipping company.

We always abbreviate business names if they have gun names.

Easiest for me and I have yet to lose a shipment...

              Mr. Buyer's Name
              C/O 3 G's Company
              Street address
              City, state, zip.

Definitely NO mention of guns, gun parts, or anything else gun related. I'll also text a copy of the PO receipt to both the buyer and dealer.
