I used to use Robert Snellings years ago for 35 dollars a transfer. Then I used Golden State Tactical for 35 dollars a transfer. Who’s doing business now that I can use.

Do let us know if you find a place that charges decent prices for out of state transfers. Thanks!

Just trying to find an FFL that will accept a shipment (rimfire rifle) from an out of state Non-FFL (sibling to sibling) is a chore.

Considering how bare some of the local stores are with no firearms in inventory I would hope they could see some benefit to letting people transfer guns in for a more reasonable price, and maybe have chance to sell some ammo, a case, but yet the transfer fees keep rising. I understand not wanting to get undercut or lose a potential sale to an out of state vendor but if an ffl is physically uncapable of providing you that item, that the extra fee starts to look very unreasonable to me. I dont expect people to work for free. I'd have no complaint paying 50 for the transfer Service but 100 to 125 fee for something that you aren't even able to offer me seems excessive. I've been voting with my wallet and only supporting ffls that are willing to transfer for a more reasonable fee, even if I have to drive further.

All of the surrounding FFLs that did transfers under $50 are out of business. CA keeps adding more and more paperwork, and previously CA DOJ couldn't fine FFLs, now it could potentially be thousands of dollars in fines for small clerical errors. While what FFLs charge is going up, they are not the cause.

my local FFL used to charge $50, now it is $100 for initial and $50 for each additional in the same shipment.
