Beretta 92FS Roster Changes

FYI - Beretta has released new part numbers for some of the CA Legal Beretta 92FS series of guns. For example: J92F300 vs J92F300CA -- apparently they changed to plastic grips instead of rubber on many of the new versions.

I don't know exactly when it happened, but noticed the new *CA SKUs at distributor listings today.

This is the best I have right now:
BER J92F300CA 92FS 9MM 3D *CA* 10RD *USA*
BER JS92F510CA 92FS 9MM INOX BL *CA* 10RD
BER J92F700CA 92FS 9MM BRIG BL *CA* 10RD
BER J92F560CA 92FS 9MM BRIG INOX*CA* 10RD

The plastic grip SKU is same without "CA" on the end. The "M" at the end is 15 rd mags.

I noticed this on a 92fs compact last year but didn't know why. Maybe the same thing.

The roster isn't that specific on the 92s and neither is DROS. So does it matter? Asking for a friend...

Depends who you ask..

The grip thing is part of the reason some Springfield Armory pistols ship with 2 sets of grips..
