PSA - Renew CA DOJ Early!

We packaged up our documents including the CLEO letter and a check and sent it to CA DOJ by priority mail at the beginning of December. We know it was delivered.

When we came into work Monday we were locked out of DROS because we didn't renew. We also lost our ammo and hi-cap permits. The check wasn't even cashed.

So FYI - renew as early as possible, send everything priority mail and check to ensure that your check was cashed promptly. If you need to, call your DOJ rep. That's what we did and we were up and running again within a few hours.

... but the High Cap Magazine and Ammo Permits expire 12/31/20. You're right thought, it shouldn't affect DROS access.

Our CLEO permission letter expired December 31, so we got cut early.

We got our renewal today. Dated 1-5-2021 from the DOJ......
