A question as to how this process works for other FFL's.
The last time I ordered a firearm and had it shipped to my FFL I thought I would give them a coutesy call to let them know I was having something sent to them. They told me it wasn't be necessary to call and that they would contact me when it arrived - which they did. Smooth process.
Fast forward to today. I placed an order directly from Springfield Armory on Nov 11. It was shipped out and received/signed for at my FFL on Dec 2. Haven't been contacted by the FFL yet but figure with how busy everything is a week is probably the going rate of processing?
What say you FFLs? How long before I try to contact them? I don't want to be "that guy" that is impatient and bugging them. What is the etiquette as to not piss them off?
Thanks in advance for sharing your side.
