Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. I would be concerned the first pistol was not DROS'ed correctly. When you DROS a dealers sale it requires you to select from drop down menus. If you do PPT you fill that info in. If it is off roster they would not have been able to select the correct pistol. You are not by chance in LA are you???

Look at your copy of the DROS. How wrong is the information?

If it's just barrel length, color, or caliber, it would be less of an issue as those can change. If it doesn't even have the correct manufacturer or serial number listed that's a bigger problem.

Are you exempt from the roster? If you’re not, I’m not sure how the handgun could have been DROSd as the drop down only allows the dealer to choose rostered handguns in the “Dealer’s Handgun” screen. And how could they not realize the seller did not need to sign anything during DROS?

One way would be if they mistakenly DROS as exempt handgun sale. Then it would work, however in an audit their rear would be in a sling. The right way to do it is to have the dealer cancel it and do it correctly. Its going to really mess up your 1-30 and it wont matter because the law reads 'to make an application to purchase' not actually get the firearm delivered to you. So its a huge cluster F. good luck hope the dealer fixes it for you.

Thank you all for your insights. The manufacturer and serial number are correctly listed. If the handgun is already in my possession, can we redo the DROS application? I did contact the FFL and awaiting a response. If the FFL is not cooperating, what is the correct thing to do to protect myself legally because I don't want this to come back and bite me in the ***. Would it be wise to contact the DOJ? or is there anything else I can do to get this situation sorted.

and by the way, what is a "1-30"?

                1-30 = 1 transaction per 30 days

In my opinion the best way to fix is:
                * Bring the pistol back to the FFL
                * Have the seller meet you there
                * Re-do the transaction and 10 day waiting period correctly as a PPT
                * Make the FFL pay for their mistake and somehow comp the seller

I don't know in the OP situation, but here's an example:
Aftermarket Glock 19 Gen3 (think all OEM parts changed out)
Dealer does "Dealer Sale" and chooses
                    Glock
                    19
                    --
while technically it's a Glock 19, it's an off roster Glock 19. The OP did mention the Make/SN were correct so it could have been a Gen5 Glock 19 as well and the dealer just chose "Glock" "19" even though that is not correct for the model number. There are various situations where the dealer could have made a mistake.

I think we should see the DROS before going too far down the rabbit hole on this one. Perhaps it was marked PPT but the 30 day exemption was marked incorrectly?

There are enough variables on a DROS that I can't believe a new user would be able to relay all the nuances to us.

No you might have ben kicked back because LA city has a one handgun per 30 regardless of PPT. PPTs automatically select the 30 day exemption nothing else to do.

Thank you again for the replies. It is a gen 5 glock 19, on my DROS it just says glock and 19 like “ugimports” mentioned. In this case, will I have any legal problems? The FFL said that the gun is already under my name and I don’t have to worry about it legally. Should I contact the seller and ask to redo process? Thank you all again for advice.
