a question for knowledgeable AK dealers. Golden State Arms Div in Manhattan Beach, ca imported unmarked AKs in the 1980 s. Called Hollywood AK s.

These have no model markings, no caliber description, no made in China, or even arsenal stamps on the receiver. They are completely unmarked except for just over the trigger guard in the left side the letters " GSAD MANH". Second line "BEA.. CA.
Can this be sold in California with a grip fin mounted to make it featurless??. It is not banned by name or model number. It is a fixed stock with folded spike bayonet.
If DROS D, what is entered under model number, where made ??

No serial number?

Assuming it does have a serial number, why do you think it can't be transferred? Lots of firearms don't come with the marking for model which is annoying. You could just use AK or AK47 or whatever it was marketed as.

I was advised that if DROS entry included made in china, of typr 56 it would trigger a rejection as an AW.
Have any suggestions

yes has a 4 digit serial number. I was advised that in DROS entry the words made in china, and model type 56 may trigger a rejection as an AW.

GSAD was the importer. That can be used for the "make". Model could be "AK47". But it's up to your FFL
