DES Account issues

Hello,

New FFL here in California and am wondering everyone's take on my current situation.

I am completely licensed and have not been able to create a DES account going on a week as of today. I have called everyday and have chatted with multiple analyst's including emailing screen shots with no success of figuring out the issue. I have been assured "management" has been notified with no ETA for a fix.

Am I fubar? Retail rent, Insurance ect. and no way to generate income

I wish I had an answer for you, but if you have a CFD you can just keep calling the DES help line.

I appreciate the response, I already know I am doomed until someone in the IVORY tower presses a few buttons..I will continue to get to know the operators that answer the helpline..

Have they sent you your CFD in the mail yet?? That can take a month or so or more in the current conditions

Yes FUBAR, contact your congress person, and perhaps a 2A lawyer.

What specific issue are you having? Have they assigned you a username/password and it doesn't work? Or is it so bad they haven't even assigned you those credentials yet?

I was emailed the CFD letter, When I go to create a DES account I get to the second step where I enter my FFL and CDL and the system states a Problem with the account. The help(less) line verified all licenses and even attempted to create the account on that end and was unable and clueless on what can be the issue.

I have registered with CFLC so it appears my CFD number is in the system.

Very frustrating...I appreciate the responses...
