I have a frustrating situation I am dealing with and I am looking for some guidance. I am following Forum rules and not mentioning the name of the FFL who is active here on this site. That being said, the facts I am about to cite are troubling.
Here are the quick facts:
On 10/6 I Zelle'd (effectively cash paid) this FFL seller approx $1600 for 2 guns and a couple of extra mags. The days preceding this transaction we had numerous emails and PMs regarding the transaction. The last one from him was essentially, "got the payment, shipping tomorrow, look for an email with tracking". This never happened.
It has now been 3 days. I have since emailed, PMd (thru CG) and called this guy 7 times with no response. The very troubling thing is that he has recent active posts on CG since that date and twice I have been on CG seeing his profile with a green light meaning that he is here and certainly has access to his mailbox (including a little while ago).
I can't help but feel that I am being ignored and avoided which pretty much sucks which I am sure you will all agree. I am wondering if this guy is going to flake on me and then I am going to have to chase him down.
My question is this - what can I do to force this guy to respond to me? One of my last messages was requesting him to simply send me back the money and let's move on. I have no clue what the problem is.
His FFL license is active and again, he is fairly well known on this site.
