    FFL Responsibility?

If I'm doing a high value PPT at a FFL and somehow the firearms goes missing or damaged while in their possession.....what's my recourse?

Do FFL's carry insurance that covers me? If so, for how much since off-rosters are going for 2-3x more these days.

    TIA.

They should. Their limits are based on what they sign up for and with whom they sign.
Best ask thew FFL in question.

We specifically did not insure PPTs. For $10 it was not economical. We had a sign behind the register saying so. If you have a high value firearm you should have your own collectors insurance or specifically add it to tour home owners policy.

Good thought. That never occurred to me...

Most of the time it's "YMMV" and "Buyer beware"

Talk to your insurance carrier. There's a difference with ownership/possession/custody and control/etc...
