    Question long gun transfer/sell

Selling a long gun I'm in San Diego area and buyer/FFL is in northern CA.
It was suggested by buyer that since he has a relative close to me, I can just drop the long gun off with relative and that person will finish the delivery?
I'm sure it isn't lawful for me to do this as long gun needs to go straight to FFL holder with no stops along the way to non FFL holders.

FFL to FFL..... Sounds like he is trying to work a no registration scam or another DOJ dip**** agent trolling here. Better safe than sorry.

I would tell the buyer tough titty you're not going to deal with him and you're going to find another buyer. When they suggest illegal stuff, its a no go for me.

Thank you all for the positive replies and no I won’t deal with him.
I didn’t have it advertised but responded to a WTB thread.

In today's market there are plenty of other buyer if you really want to sell.
            You made the right decision

So, now it is ironic that the State whittles away at the right of its citizens to defend themselves from the possible oppression of their State.

I think the main point is firearm must ship directly to the FFL without a stop in-between to a friend or relative who isn't a FFL.
I like using FFL to FFL because it leaves a good paper trail my dealer charges $25 plus shipping.

Nothing wrong with FFL to FFL, it is usually the easiest way and sometimes even cheaper (for handguns).

That was suggested to you 2-3 times by the FFL, was is not?
