    Multiple firearm ppt

Hi, was at a LGS doing a PPT for two HK pistols, I was charged $37.19 x 2 + $10 = around $85. It didn't feel right and I asked him about it, shouldn't it be $37.19 + $10x2= $57.19? His reply is he is right I am wrong. I mentioned other ffls charge only one dros whether its two or 200 firearms.
I dont care about the money but like to know the right way and fees
    Thanks

It depends on store, I only knew turner will charge $10 for each additional firearms.

This should be defined clearly by DOJ, no?

Legally 57.19 is correct for two guns.

          Should be $57.19 total.

The FFL was wrong. Once they start, they can enter as many DROS for a single person as they wish, for a single $37.19 fee - as long as they don't close the session. And it does not matter if there are multiple sellers to the same buyer either.

Or a combination of long guns and handguns.

                      And receivers, don't forget receivers

Always add a few receivers to every DROS, I do (at least when they are ~$50)

If we ever get back to normal I encourage FFLs to keep receivers on hand and be sure to promote them with every DROS (kinda like "Would you like fries with that?") It is an easy way to add some more bucks to your pocket for a PPT and it is a great value for the customer.
