Need a new DOJ rep

Started out with a great rep. Would answer my questions with yes/no or explain in detail. She left, had another was same way, both would get back to me within the hr. at the latest. Now she retired and the one I have now just sends me the p.c code about a day or two later. I am new to the game and the p.c helps but sometimes that little extra help out, and I liked the personal interaction of the past ones.
Are the reps. geographically based? When I got a auto reply email, she left emails for the other reps based on location.

I believe they are geographically based. I imagine the areas are somewhat workload driven but my rep covers a very large area in the central part of the State. I have a vague recollection that they gave me a map of the state with the various districts/areas identified when I first got my dealers permit but I can't seem to locate that now. Maybe I imagined it.

My rep is very good about responding to inquiries although not within the hour. Within a day is more the norm for me. If I need an immediate answer I use the general DOJ dealer number. Pre-COVID they were always available when I called. However, they were not as knowledgeable as my rep so I didn't always get accurate information, especially in regards to uncommon situations. Post COVID I have never got through to a real person.

I think they change where they cover. The rep assigned to my area is not only responsive, but she calls me too. Helped me work through a peculiar issue (person with no first name) and went above and beyond what I thought she was going to do to try and help the end customer. BTW: it doesn't hurt to email some of the other reps.. worst that can happen is they ignore you like your current one
