I am a home-based FFL and am running out of storage in my safe primarily because of the ammo. I am looking at getting either another safe or a locking cabinet, but before I do, I have been trying to look up the regulations on storage of ammo on the licensee's premises.
I have found this:
30350 An ammunition vendor shall not sell or otherwise transfer ownership of, offer for sale or otherwise offer to transfer ownership of, or display for sale or display for transfer of ownership of any ammunition in a manner that allows that ammunition to be accessible to a purchaser or transferee without the assistance of the vendor or an employee of the vendor.
(Amended November 8, 2016, by initiative Proposition 63, Sec. 8.12.)
I seem to remember more stringent requirements regarding ammo storage. If this is it, I should be good with just shelving in the employee-only area. Anyone care to chime in?
