    CALIFORNIA FFL SOCAL

    whats up calgunners

    im in the process of starting up my business which is quiet the PITA. im applying for a type 7. i also have a business partner as to why we have a edd sein.

    my current situation;

    1.approved llc
    - submitted sos
    2.acquired irs/edd fein/sein's

    so im currently stuck and cannot complete my ffl paper work because i cant find a spot to lease for business ( owners of properties wont allow me to rent because theyre not sure the process time to get approved and dont want to rent a building with nothing going on inside)
    i also cant get approved because im not allowed to operate a home business regarding firearms in my city.

      Once you find a landlord willing to lease to a FFL, usually, they're pretty understanding. Either yourself, or your commercial reale state agent can negotiate on your behalf. It's pretty common that new tenants will need to remodel/demo (return to white), so most LL will either give you a $30,000 credit to return the shop to original status, or they will give you a XX-day rent free. The LL you are finding are probably just anti-gun since it is SoCal, and looking for excuses to deny you by making unfair conditions. Or it's also possible you may not be negotiating hard enough.

        Interesting..my landlord was happy to take my rent money for a year while I finished getting my licensing squared away... wonder why larger commercial spaces don't want the free rent money?
