    30 day purchase limit

    Good afternoon FFL's!

I purchased a new handgun from a vendor at the end of June and am currently waiting for the 10 days to end.

Can I purchase a stripped 100% AR lower receiver now or does that fall under the 1 in 30 rule?

Thanks and thanks for all that you guys do in this red tape, jump through hoops laden state...

            Correct, July 1, 2021.
PC 27535. (a) A person shall not make an application to purchase more than one handgun or semiautomatic centerfire rifle within any 30-day period. This subdivision does not authorize a person to make an application to purchase both a handgun and semiautomatic centerfire rifle within the same 30-day period.
But as a 03FFL and COE holder:
            (b) Subdivision (a) does not apply to any of the following:
            (9) Any person who is licensed as a collector pursuant to Chapter 44 (commencing with Section 921) of Title 18 of the United States Code and the regulations issued pursuant thereto, and has a current certificate of eligibility issued by the Department of Justice pursuant to Article 1 (commencing with Section 26700) of Chapter 2.

And the long gun 1-30 is specific to semiauto centerfire as quoted above. Lowers are not impacted by it.

If you have a COE and you are on the CFD for your FFL, you are exempt from 1-in-30 and 10-day. EDIT: By CFD, I mean on the letter that the Centralized List Unit BOF sends you that is signed by Xavier Becerra, your personal name must be listed in the Licensee(s) section.
