    PPT with no magazine?

    Can a pistol be private party transferred without a magazine?

      Not unless you are FSC exempt, otherwise you need a magazine for the safety demo. If the seller has a magazine, even so-called high capacity, that could be brought at the start to do the safety demo.

          As a non FFL, how do you guys transfer stripped lowers? They classify as a firearm, yet have no magazine or any other parts. Is a magazine required to PPT a stripped lower? Just asking.

            There is no safety demo required for a lower, there was a bulletin about that when the FSC applied to long guns.
