So.. I just delivered ammo to a customer... swiped his DL did all the standard stuff.. BUT after he left I realized I used the wrong address (his old one). His new address I recently DROSd to him a firearm and he picked up on 3/22/2020 so that should be the latest AFS record.
Which leads me to believe the stringent address checking may not be occurring anymore as it seemed to be previously. Could be the high number of false rejections they were getting was part of the reason. We always did wonder why they didn't just key off the DL/ID# which maybe they do not on the automated system?
Anyway just an FYI.
