Beyond the Federally accepted method of destroying a firearm, is there any paperwork that is required to be completed and turned in??

Destroying firearms
American soldier by choice. Made in America by the Grace of God.
So, now it is ironic that the State whittles away at the right of its citizens to defend themselves from the possible oppression of their State.

AFAIK...
No Federal paperwork needs to be done for Title 1 firearms.
CA requires paperwork, if a Notice of No Longer in Possession is being submitted due to the firearm being destroyed.
^Copy of insurance claim and/or statement from a firearm manufacturer or gunsmith certifying the firearm was destroyed, along with the reason for destruction and the method used to destroy it.sigpic

The form is still available
