ATF suspending firearm sales?
Hey all
A LGS said that they are suspending new firearm sales and only doing PPT.
Can anybody chime in on whether the ATF is prohibiting new sales, or if this is just an LGS descision?

That's likely NOT an ATF directive, that's more than likely CA DOJ.
I have not heard from ANY licensee in the country that the ATF is shutting anyone down.
More to the point, the ATF people that CAN shut down licensee's are IOI's and - ALL OF THEM ARE WORKING FROM HOME RIGHT NOW.

Any orders would be county by county as it is based on the county health department and the orders vary by county.
I have talked to a person I know at the DOJ and it isn't from there. I haven't heard from the BATF, but they wouldn't have to personally go to the business, they could call, it doesn't have to be door to door, but if anyone says that they are going door to door, that is a sure sign that it is fake.Kemasa.

FYI, I was told from a reliable source that the BATF isn't suspending firearms sales, the BATF isn't shutdown, most are working from home, but some are still going in. In other words, they are still operating, although perhaps a bit differently. I don't know if the BATF is doing it or not, but it is possible to forward the phone to a home phone or cell phone, so the regular numbers might work, I know that others are doing that.Kemasa.
