Long story short, I'm thinking about transferring in a handgun (and maybe a long gun) from my parents who are in Georgia. My understanding is that they need to transfer to an FFL in CA along with a letter of gift. Unfortunately, most of the FFLs I've spoken to seem to not know what they're talking about or are blatantly trying to steer me to buy something on-roster. Does anybody have a good recommendation in the LA area closer to Ktown?
