Newbie question. I've been a Home-Based FFL for about 5 minutes. Doing my first PPT later today. Do I need to make and keep copies of driver's licenses, proof of residency, or anything else? I can't remember if I asked that during the process. Thanks in advance!

If I remember correctly you don't have to keep a copy of the CDL if you use the card reader to enter the information into DROS. In 4 years with two different card readers I've never had one get all of the data entered correctly so I always keep a copy.
Its been a while so maybe I'm remembering that wrong.Comment

Possible
https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1593088 And yes, I'm learning too -- and I am building step by step checklists with what each person involved needs to supply, fill out, sign and fingerprint -- which I will share when I am done.
Does anyone else have checklists they want to share:- PPT <-- this is the one I am doing first
