    Question Regarding FFL 03 C&R

I just got my C&R license and COE and was wondering if I want to buy a gun at a gun shop that is C&R eligible, do I need to bring in my original C&R license that was mailed to me by the ATF or will a photo copy be acceptable?

Bring a copy. Do not sign it. You will sign the copy in person at the shop.

A photo copy is what you bring. Whenever you present your FFL it needs to be signed and dated.

Never sign and date your original. Make copies of your original. Scan a copy of your original. Keep the original in a safe place.
