Does CA DOJ require buyer to actually select the DROS Firearms Eligibility Questions answers by keyboard / mouse?

Is it okay for FFL to select each answer based on a verbal response from the buyer after the buyer reads each question?

I don't know what DOJ says. But every time I have ever answered these they were asked verbally. And I would say I was only ever asked 10% or less of the time.

Also, when the customer signs the form they are accepting the answers on them under penalty of perjury. If any of them are incorrect they should be telling you instead of blindly signing.

I have a customer read and sign a document with the information for the DROS with the penalty of perjury statement on it, basically everything which is needed for the DROS, except for the FSC, which the actual FSC is needed, so not too much of a reason to have it on the sheet. It makes it easier and less likely to make a mistake.

The FFL should ask, not assume, if the address on the ID is their actual residence, as well as if the person uses any aliases
