    Electronic 4473/DROS/A&D

What is everyone using these days for E Form programs/hardware for 4473/DROS/A&D? We are looking to switch and Id love to hear some Pro/Cons of the various programs. Does any software integrate with DROS? I feel like we are in the stone age at the moment so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You may want to hold off on the new version of 4473 coming out "soon" (not sure when). Only because it may effect how any of the existing companies do their electronic forms going forward.

I have a custom one but it was working because all the customer data was on the 1st page and dealer info / fill-in was on page 2-3.

The new 4473 will have some dealer information at the top of Page 1 (what was on page 3 previously) and the customer information will be broken up between Pages 1 and 2.. so I won't be able to easily convert my program and suspect other companies may have some issues with the new version as well depending how they worked before.

If you are looking at some of the other companies I would ask them how far along they are developing against the new proposed 4473 format so you don't buy into one that's DOA shortly after you get it. All of them will likely come up with upgrades but you'll want to know how long you have to wait for that.

ATF says June/July for the new 4473's. There still hearing the pro's and coin's no the matter.
