Getting a sks out of state

im trying to buy a sks out of state. And alot of people are saying they dont want to go through the hassle of filing additional paperwork for the transfer to CA ??


What is needed to make the transfer happen?

Find an intermediary ffl. Someone who they can send to that'll send it into Cali.

The CFLC is for all firearms being shipped from an out-of-state FFL dealer to a CA FFL dealer.

The CA paperwork is easy and often with an little explanation many FFLs will do the transfer. I have talked several through the process.

Your other option is to find a FFL outside of CA who will ship to CA. If you know someone who lives in the area, then that person can purchase the firearm and then sell it to you, shipping it directly to the FFL, if the CA FFL will accept delivery from a non-FFL.
