    Real ID for Ammo Purchases?

    I don't sell a lot of ammo so I have not had to deal with this yet but I did have a request from a customer who does not have a Real ID. Does a buyer have to have a Real ID to buy ammo? I know they do to buy a firearm (or alternative proof of legal residence in the US) but not sure about ammo.

      No but they will need to show you something to prove here legally. Passport, birth certificate, greencard, etc...

          The ID requirements are the same as for firearms. A real ID isn't required, but then other documents are needed.
