Anybody using Aimsi version 12? We just upgraded from 10, and have.... usability questions... mainly the best way to process transfers. We of course called them, but the basic answer was "we don't run a gun store, and California is weird".

Aside from California being weird, their response makes me think you should rethink your POS choice.

One tech doesn't represent the whole company. They are working on the issues that I mentioned, but I just don't see how a CA ffl uses the very latest version without tracking barrel length and color in the bound book. They removed that between 10 and 12 and I really liked it. It's still there, just in another menu so harder to get to

Our pawn system does have a module that you can choose to fill in barrel length but its not mandatory (although I can probably change it) we've never utilized it and seem to go with the ole tape measure or the one on the backside of our countertop.
