My COE will expire in October so I want to get it renewed in a timely fashion. First step - go to CFARS. Enter my username and password and am told my password has expired. OK - so just need to reset it. Instructions say to reset password use the "forgot password" link. OK - so I check that and am asked for my email address - no problem - and I have to do the proof that I'm not a robot thing. Then I get a message that says an email has been sent which will give me instructions on how to do a password reset. So I go to my email and - sure enough there is an email from CFARS. Open it up and there is the link to post in my browser. OK - so I click the link and save it and then paste it into my browser and hit enter. Now I'm back to the CFARS page where I started and there is a message telling me my token has expired. Token? What? OK - so I've done this repeatedly about ten times to see if there is something I'm doing wrong and keep getting the same thing. I tried calling the CFARS number - that's a joke! No help there! And I emailed CFARS and politely told them what was happening and begging for help. No response after three days. I'm betting I'm not the only one to ever encounter this - so I'm asking for advice, tips, clues or anything that might get me over this frustration. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
